"The Flipped Classroom" is the idea that teaching should be accessed outside of class often online and at home.  It deals with bringing homework and questions into the classroom and allows students to review outside of class at home.  I had a really good history teacher that used this method and recorded herself teaching a slideshow and then posted it online for students to take notes on at home.

Open Educational Resources publish lesson plans and courses online.  The online resource linked below discusses how OER can be used for free while improving the quality of learning within the United States.  This link also explains ideas about how Online Educational Resources can be used.

I learned how to record myself speaking for a PowerPoint slideshow from Assignment 4.  I liked how I was able to pick the topic that I was teaching, but I had technical difficulties with recording so I don't know if this method is always reliable.  I can improve this assignment by spending more time on it and figuring out if my laptop's microphone works ahead of time.

I like how Assignment 5 allowed me to be creative and create an interactive activity for my students.  This would allow my students to learn while having fun.  I didn't like how many steps it took to create an interactive activity through PowerPoint.  I can improve through practice.  I also would make my home slide look better.
